Aeons
05:19
|
|||
A dying tree has standing brothers to break its fall
Holding still, to revel in the mourning before the release
But for now, just breathe
The drying leaves, just before they glide to the earth
Are reminiscent of all that was green
And pass away in peace
The consciousness of seasons
Changing, unknown
Maiden, Mother, Crone
A howling wind, with chilling terror riddled through its song
Cutting clear, to revel in the scorning of all that is weak
Revealing what is serene
The siren's call for all to decease
A necessary release
An evolution so present throughout the cycle of life and death
Only regarded as aeons
Nearly forgotten and long since passed
The consciousness of seasons
Changing, unknown
Maiden, Mother, Crone

Blue Ruin
06:24
|
|||
I watched the Earth evaporate
Into the void
A change of the guard in heaven
To the devil's employ
Saw shooting stars go still
Watched worlds surrender will
All burning into nothing
All fading way to black
The expansion of forever
Has now been shown its limit
The Universe, is no longer infinite
The sun is masked by a blanket of clouds
The sky is dark, yet no rain pours down
As light collides above the Earth
Descent of the desolate, in blue ruin we are left
The entropy of heaven
Is met with Armageddon
The Universe, a silence indefinite

Balance
07:15
|
|||
Balance lies on the border of chaos and order
Finite the line between the way up and the staggered decline
Even in their throes
The low and high of either side
There are shimmers in the darkness
And shadows in the light
There are stories in a fire if you listen to the flame
Tales of Heaven, scars from Hell
Marks of love, and wounds of rage
Seem to burn in vain
I feel I've lost my mind
For one more than a million times
When nothing is black and white
I fantasize in silver and gold

Flesh to Dust
06:43
|
|||
Light fades, burning out the flame
Like moments that time throws away
Death knows no master
And time no slave
Through fear or with content, all beginnings meet an end
Ash to ash, flesh to dust
When the thirsty want blood, there can never be enough
Death knows no master
And time no slave
Through fear or with content, all beginnings meet an end
